How do I submit my application?
Please apply through our career portal. On the page for the job advertisement you are interested, you can access our portal via the "Apply Now" button. Here, you can upload relevant documents, such as your resume, certificates if applicable, and a cover letter.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept or consider documents sent by post or email.
How long does it take to receive information about my application status?
You will receive an acknowledgment of your application immediately after submission. You have put a lot of effort into your application, and we hold the same standard in our selection process. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience.
What components should my application include?
A comprehensive resume is a must in order for us to get a first impression of you. It is also helpful if you include a brief explanation of your responsibilities in your previous roles.
Through your cover letter, you have the opportunity to convince us why you are the ideal candidate for the position. Certificates and proof of further education further help us gain a comprehensive understanding of your academic and professional journey. We will need these documents at the latest at the next step in the process.
How does the selection process work?
If your application makes the shortlist, we will arrange an initial interview to get to know each other personally. Ideally, a second interview will follow, where we can learn more about you and you have the chance to ask more in-depth questions. During the interview process, you can meet potential colleagues and see our workspaces. For apprentices, in addition to an interview and a tour of the AKN workshop, there will also be a written and practical test.
Can I submit an application regardless of the available positions?
Yes, you can! However, all available positions are posted in our job portal on our website, so such applications have significantly lower chances in comparison. It is best to check our job portal first to see if there is a position that interests you. Apply regardless of the available positions
Can I apply for multiple job openings simultaneously?
If you find several job openings interesting and meet the requirements, you can apply for multiple positions through the portal.
Are there opportunities for internships, student jobs, or thesis projects?
You can find our current internship positions and offers for student jobs HERE. For specific ideas regarding thesis projects or inquiries about student internships, please send us an unsolicited application through our job portal.
How do I know if a position listed on the internet is still open or has been filled?
Our job portal is constantly updated, so visible positions advertised on the portal are still vacant. Due to technical limitations, it is possible that job listings might still appear on other job boards even after they have been removed from our career page.
Can I reapply after receiving a rejection?
Yes, you are welcome to reapply for a different position after receiving a rejection.
